MPNC Council Scholarship

The Marshy Point Nature Center Council awards a minimum of $6,000.00 in academic scholarships yearly to High School seniors and students entering their second year in college who have shown a high level of commitment to the health of the environment, and plan to continue their studies in environmental sciences or nature education. Applicants must show a high level of commitment to conservation through occupational, educational, and personal experience. In addition to these requirements, the Scholarship Committee looks for young people who, we believe, will truly impact our environment and the natural world. Applications must be postmarked by March 28, 2025.

Applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility*:

  1. 3.0 minimum GPA
  2. Expectations of being a freshman, sophomore, or first-time college student entering as a Junior
  3. Environmental science or related major
  4. Nature/Conservation-based volunteer or work experience
